"Riders are the obligations of the organizer. This is according to me, I’m just speaking diplomatically. And it is actually the right of the talent or the artist," said Reza Arap in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, Monday (21/7/2025).

Based on that thought, he believes that any request made by an artist in their riders list is a normal and legitimate thing.
To provide a real example, he even leaked a unique request from his bandmate, Roy. He described that even unusual requests can still be acceptable.

"So I think it's totally fine, no matter how weird it is. For example, one of the members of Weird Genius, Roy," explained Reza Arap.
"Roy's riders requested Pokemon cards, but the ones from the minimarket. Not anything fancy," he continued.

Interestingly, behind his view that allows artists to request anything, Arap's personal riders are actually very down-to-earth. He never asks for complicated things.

"I have never changed from the past until now. Cigarettes, and one more thing, one brand of fried chicken, outside of alcohol for Weird Genius," concluded the member of Weird Genius.
"Because in clubs, there's alcohol. But if it's a festival that doesn't sell alcohol at all, then there's nothing," he continued.

The reason behind his choice is very practical, especially for fried chicken. This reflects his concern not only for himself but also for the people around him. He also explained the benefits of the fried chicken.
"First, if I haven't eaten, I can eat right away. Second, if I've already eaten, I can give it to my crew," he said.

Although his requests are simple, sometimes they are not fulfilled. However, his flexible attitude shows a high level of professionalism, where he will not get angry or make a big deal out of those small shortcomings. He admits that he is used to such conditions.
"It happens often, but it's okay. Just let it be hehehe, why get angry, it's fine," he concluded.
