Ria Ricis Files for Divorce, Gives Three Demands to Teuku Ryan

Kapanlagi.com - Ria Ricis is filing for divorce from her husband, Teuku Ryan at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, through an e-court process. The lawsuit is registered under case number 547/Pdt.G/2024/PA.JS. There are three points in the divorce lawsuit filed by Ria Ricis against Teuku Ryan. These include divorce, alimony, and child custody.

"The plaintiff, in this case the wife, is the one filing the lawsuit with cumulative demands. The first demand is for divorce, alimony, and child custody. The divorce is combined with alimony and child custody," said Taslimah, the spokesperson for the South Jakarta Religious Court, at her office on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

"The plaintiff has provided reasons for the lawsuit, which include the usual grounds and the plaintiff's arguments, stating that they were married and have children together. Therefore, the child requires care and financial support, and that is the reason," added Taslimah.

1. First Hearing on February 19th

Taslimah said that the first divorce hearing for Ria Ricis and Teuku Ryan will be held at the South Jakarta Religious Court on February 19, 2024. Taslimah mentioned that during the first hearing, Ria Ricis and Teuku Ryan will engage in mediation.

"God willing, on February 19, 2024. The plaintiff and defendant will be summoned, and the first session will focus on reconciliation. If both parties are present, they will be mediated at the South Jakarta Religious Court," said Taslimah.

2. Mandatory Attendance

Taslimah further stated that Ria Ricis and Teuku Ryan are required to attend the first hearing. Their presence in the court is mandatory, unless there are legitimate reasons for their absence.

"All principal divorce cases must be present in court. Unless they are abroad, in which case they must provide a special power of attorney from the embassy of the country they are in. Or if they are sick, they must provide a medical certificate," Taslimah concluded.
