Rieke Diah Pitaloka Reestablishes Communication with Ex-Husband After 10 Years, Accidentally Meets

Kapanlagi.com - This year's Ramadan has its own blessings for artist Rieke Dyah Pitaloka. The woman, who is also a politician, has made peace with her disappointment by reestablishing communication with her ex-husband, Donny Gahral Adian.

Apparently, since their divorce on January 13, 2015, Rieke Diah Pitaloka Intan Purnamasari has never met her ex-husband again. As if God planned for them to meet, a chance encounter with her ex-husband happened.

"Alhamdulillah, I can reestablish communication with the father of my children, how cute is that. After 10 years, that's the exciting part," said Rieke Diah Pitaloka when interviewed in Depok, West Java, on Wednesday (3/4).

"Alhamdulillah, in this Ramadan, it's one of the blessings that actually calms me down in this matter. Everything becomes lighter and the children become more peaceful," added Rieke Diah Pitaloka.

1. The Feeling of Anger Disappears

What makes the actress who played Oneng in the series Bajaj Bajuri grateful is that when the meeting happened, the feeling of resentment or anger seemed to disappear. Instead, she feels more calm.

"After that, I immediately, um, just shook hands. All this time, I was angry about everything, but Allah gave me wisdom. In this Ramadan month, I don't get angry. Maybe the anger has disappeared, it's been 10 years, I think I'm calm now," she said.

2. Rieke's Hope

The woman who is now 50 years old admits that after the divorce, she decided to cut off communication with her ex-husband. For matters concerning the children, Rieke involves a third party.

"Because usually the communication is through those who take care of the children or through staff. I don't keep his number, I block everything," she explained.

In the future, Rieke hopes that the current situation will continue. Especially at her age now, she is no longer young.

"I'm already mature. It's time to be calmer, wiser. That's my hope, please pray. Hopefully everything will be better," Rieke Diah Pitaloka concluded.
