The police themselves have received a peace letter between Rinoa and Leon. However, Leon cannot be released yet because the Notice of the Commencement of Investigation (SPDP) has been given to the Prosecutor's Office.

"So it is true that we have received a peace letter between Rinoa and Leon Dozan. However, we will consider this peace letter, and we will attach it to the case file. Because this case involving Leon Dozan already has an SPDP, we have sent it to the Prosecutor's Office," said the Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Police Commissioner Susatyo Purnomo Condro, to the media.

Because the files have been sent to the Prosecutor's Office, the police will coordinate. Therefore, the restorative justice process cannot be implemented immediately.

"Currently (Leon) is still detained at the Central Jakarta Police. We need to coordinate with the Prosecutor's Office. We will inquire about the progress of the restorative justice proposed by both parties," said Police Commissioner Susatyo Purnomo Condro.

Because this case has gone viral, the restorative justice process will still be considered by the police. Because there are several requirements that must be fulfilled to carry out the agenda.

"(Restorative justice) has requirements, namely formal requirements in the form of a peace agreement letter and also material requirements. One of the requirements is not to cause public unrest. Because this is a public legal case, especially since it has gone viral and so on. We respect the justice prevailing in society, currently we are conducting an investigation and coordinating with the Prosecutor's Office," said Police Commissioner Susatyo Condro Purnomo.
