Ruben Onsu shared news about the construction of his mosque through his latest post. In this project, Ruben is not just building a place of worship. He is also introducing a Tahfidz Qur’an dormitory that is located in the same complex as the mosque.
The mosque owned by Ruben Onsu features an elegant modern-traditional architectural concept. The building is dominated by a calming color palette of light blue, cream, and green accents.
The exterior of the mosque is beautified with a row of tall windows arranged neatly. The presence of these windows allows natural light to enter the worship space maximally.
The dormitory complex located next to the mosque is designed using a functional elongated pattern. Although simple, the building design still looks aesthetic and harmonious with the mosque area.
Inside the dormitory, the bedding facilities are arranged using a bunk bed model made of iron. This concept creates a more organized environment for studying and memorizing the Qur'an. The atmosphere of the dormitory is also designed to make the students feel comfortable while using the facilities.
The mosque and dormitory owned by Ruben Onsu are named Al-Yusni. The name is derived from Arabic and means a place of worship that is full of goodness and blessings.
Ruben Onsu admitted that he never imagined he could reach the stage of building the mosque. Nevertheless, he tried to gather the courage to take steps this far. "I never imagined it, but I dared to take all my steps," said Ruben. He also requested prayers from the public for the smooth progress of the mosque and Tahfidz dormitory construction.
