Roy Marten apparently felt very lost when he heard the news of Barata Nugraha or Polo Srimulat's death. Polo Srimulat was known to have passed away on Wednesday (6/3) at 12.00 WIB at Ana Medika Bekasi Hospital due to his illness. Check out Roy Marten's story about his friend during their lifetime.
Roy Marten expressed a little regret that he had not had the chance to visit the late Polo when he was sick. For him, the late Polo was a clever, religious, and of course funny comedian.
"He is very smart, funny, and don't get me wrong, he is very religious," said Roy Marten when met in Kemang area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (6/3).
"If you pay attention to Polo, he is funny, his response is very quick, not only on stage but also in daily life, he is very funny and smart, he is intelligent in speaking. So when he gives a speech, it's very serious," he continued.
Certainly, there are many memories between Roy and Polo during their friendship. The moments of teasing each other are deeply ingrained in Roy Marten's mind.
"When we gather, we tease each other with Mas Tessy and Mas Tarzan. We talk about the past and just tease each other, it's funny," he said.
Although sad, Roy Marten feels relieved because his friend is no longer sick. Roy also prayed for Polo to leave peacefully and find the best place by His side.
"I pray that my brother Polo goes to a peaceful place. Go to the Father's house where there is no sorrow and pain, may our God remember and eternalize his memory," he said.
Losing a good friend forever is certainly a blow to Roy Marten. Hopefully Polo is at peace by his side and Roy Marten, as well as Polo's closest people, are always given strength.
