Many people came to the funeral home to pay their last respects to Polo. There were many fellow comedians and artists who were present as well.
One of them is Kadir, a comedian who is a member of the Srimulat group along with Polo. In Kadir's eyes, Polo is a good person. He still remembers Polo's last condition when they were shooting together.
"Two months ago, we were shooting together and he already brought an oxygen tank," said Kadir when met at the funeral home in Tegal Perintis Housing, Bekasi City, West Java, on Wednesday (6/3/2024).
Furthermore, Kadir also joked with the late Polo on Tuesday (5/3) night via WhatsApp. "Just joking around, joking in the WA group is still the same, as if nothing has changed," said Kadir.
In addition to Kadir, another person who feels the loss is actor Roy Marten. He even regrets not being able to visit the late Polo when he was sick.
"He is very smart, funny, and don't be mistaken, he is very religious," said Roy Marten when met in Kemang, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (6/3).
"If you pay attention to Polo, he is funny, his response is so fast, not only on stage but also in daily life, he is very funny and smart, he is smart and articulate. So when he gives a speech, it's very serious," he continued.
"When we gather, we tease each other with Mr. Tessy and Mr. Tarzan. We talk about the past and just have fun," concluded Roy Marten.
