Sarwendah Acknowledges Experiencing Psychological Pressure Due to Defamation on Social Media

Sarwendah decided to take the case of alleged defamation to the legal realm after feeling that various posts on social media have impacted her personal life.

In addition to being deemed damaging to her reputation, the circulating defamation is also said to affect her psychological condition and work activities.

Sarwendah's legal counsel, Korbinianus Molmen Nomer, stated that his client has suffered losses that are not only material but also psychological.

"It is not only her work environment that is disturbed, but also Mrs. Sarwendah's psychological state has suffered losses," said Korbinianus Molmen Nomer when met at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Monday (29/6/2026).

However, Korbinianus emphasized that Sarwendah is not anti against criticism or input. However, according to him, the issue faced this time has already led to slander and character assassination.

"This means that Mrs. Sarwendah will convey that she does not reject all existing criticisms, she does not reject all inputs directed at her. However, if this has disturbed her peace, that is why she takes this step," he explained.

Sarwendah herself chooses not to provide many comments regarding the ongoing legal process and leaves all explanations to her legal team.

"Thank you everyone, it will be continued by my legal counsel as well. So thank you, let them explain later," said Sarwendah.

Korbinianus added that Sarwendah had previously undergone questioning and provided statements to the investigators. Their visit this time was only to submit additional evidence in the form of video recordings that are considered to strengthen the report.
