Serious Illness, Here are 8 Photos of Hotman Paris Working from Home While Wearing Shorts and Swimming

After being rushed to the hospital due to a serious liver infection, Hotman Paris Hutapea claims to have started changing his lifestyle and work patterns. The flamboyant lawyer now prefers to work from home while relaxing by the pool, in order to maintain his health post-hospitalization.

"Is working in the early morning stopped? It's reduced, not stopped, because since the corona, I haven't gone to the office, I enjoy working in my workspace near my pool, at 6:30 the employees have already come just to give reports," said Hotman when met in the Grogol area, West Jakarta, Sunday (6/4/2025). Here are the details.

Hotman stated that he now rarely goes to the office. He chooses to carry out all his professional activities from home, even in a relaxed atmosphere wearing only swimwear.

This unique working style is said to be more effective. According to Hotman, a relaxed atmosphere actually makes his mind sharper, allowing him to think clearly when handling the big cases he deals with. "We are like Bruce Lee, already seniors in the field of law, whatever is given we memorize it right away," he said proudly.

Not only that, Hotman even opened part of his house as a personal office, a gathering place for dozens of lawyers and staff. He even has a special room for lectures, live broadcasts selling perfume, and accounting matters.

Hotman also mentioned that, despite being sick, he still appears with his signature style. Even when giving a civil law lecture at home, he admitted to only wearing casual clothes. "I only wear shorts, if you want to see me in sexy clothes, in swimwear giving a civil law lecture come to my house," he said casually.

However, the doctor still warned him to pay attention to his food. One thing he must avoid is roast duck that has been hung for too long because it can become a source of harmful bacteria. "The doctor advised me to be careful eating roast duck that has been hanging for a long time, it's dangerous if it hangs for hours bacteria can get in," said Hotman.

Although now more relaxed, Hotman still has to undergo further examinations. He is scheduled to return to Singapore for an endoscopy as a form of routine monitoring for the infection that had previously affected him. "I will go back to Singapore later, scheduled for the 28th for the endoscopy, for a routine check-up," explained Hotman.
