Sholat Istikharah Apparently Becomes a Way for Nikita Willy and Indra Priawan to Confirm Their Choice

Yora, Nikita Willy's mother, stated the reasons why her daughter is confident in accepting Indra Priawan's proposal. Besides having been in a long-term relationship, Yora also advised her daughter to perform the istikharah prayer to reassure herself.

"Surely every parent will advise their child if they want to enter the marriage stage or want something they desire, try performing the istikharah prayer to obtain Allah's blessings and permission," said Nikita Willy's mother when contacted recently.

In addition, a similar thing was apparently done by Nikita Willy's prospective partner, Indra Priawan. Yora also mentioned that before getting permission to propose to Nikita Willy, Indra was advised to seek guidance through the sunnah istikharah prayer.

"Yes, both of them performed it (the istikharah prayer) and alhamdulillah they came to us, they are ready to start a family," said Yora.

According to Yora, as parents, they always support their children's choices. Especially when it comes to marriage, they can only pray for their daughter to make the best choice.

"As parents, we pray for and approve of it because they have been together for four years," she added.
