Sisca Saras' First Experience at JFC 2026: Gala Dinner to Parade

This is a special experience for her as it is her first time involved in one of the largest fashion festivals in the world, as well as taking the stage in front of important guests ahead of the peak event. In her statement, Sisca emphasized that her performance at this year's JFC is also her debut in participating in the fashion parade.

"This is my first time participating in a fashion parade. In fact, it's my first time performing at a JFC event as well. So, the most exciting part is performing again with Ayaka Yasumoto at the peak event of JFC tonight, in front of important guests like the Regent of Jember and others. The stage is really big, very high, and I'm very happy because we can perform a new song with Ayaka and also with friends from Sakura Nesha," said Sisca.

1. First Appearance at JFC 2026 and Gala Dinner

Before the peak of the carnival, Sisca Saras was also present to entertain at the JFC 2026 Gala Dinner. This agenda serves as the opening series leading to the main event and a form of appreciation to various parties that support the organization of JFC. In addition, this moment was utilized to strengthen collaboration through a networking session and welcoming ceremony.

The JFC Gala Dinner brought together organizers, creative industry players, sponsors, and local government. Guests were treated to a luxurious dinner, an exclusive preview of several costumes that will appear on the street catwalk, and a series of musical performances and cultural arts that build enthusiasm leading up to the Grand Carnival.

On this occasion, Sisca performed alongside Ayaka Yasumoto. They also presented a new song together with their friends from Sakura Nesha, continuing the collaboration that would carry on to the main stage later that night.

2. The Festivity of the City and Appreciation for Costume Works

For Sisca, it’s not just the stage that left an impression. She admitted to being impressed by the enthusiasm of the Jember community towards the fashion world. The excitement of the carnival was evident, with a lineup of costumes created with creativity and meaning.

"It’s really fun to see friends who are truly enthusiastic about fashion. Especially the Jember community, the artists who made incredibly beautiful costumes, with themes that are really interesting, the costumes are unique and full of meaning. Throughout the journey to the stage, we were always surrounded by people wearing beautiful costumes," she said.

The involvement of the residents was also evident from the participation of various age groups. Children to adults were present to enliven the series of JFC 2026, strengthening the reputation of this carnival on the international stage.

"From little kids to the elderly, everyone participated in this event. So, it’s no wonder why this is called The Best Fashion Carnival in the World," she said.

3. Tinkerbell Costume and Parade Euphoria

Another thrill was felt by Sisca as she participated in the parade wearing a Tinkerbell costume themed around forest fairies. Together with the Sakura Nesha team, she rode on the parade vehicle, greeting thousands of people lining the carnival route.

"It’s my first time joining a parade in a Tinkerbell costume, a forest fairy costume. We rode the float with friends from Sakura Nesha, and we were able to walk while greeting friends in Jember who were watching from the side of the road. They were very enthusiastic. Even though it rained in the middle of it all, they kept watching and were excited to see who was doing the fashion show in the middle of the street," she said.

The weather, which was briefly drenched by rain, did not diminish the enthusiasm of the spectators. The residents remained along the route to witness the participants and the costumes that passed by, including the moment Sisca greeted the audience from atop the parade vehicle.

The series of parades completed her stage experience, from direct interactions with the audience to seeing up close how the spectacular costumes were crafted by local artists.

4. Stage Action and Audience Response

The warm response also came when Sisca performed on the JFC stage. She saw the audience singing and dancing along, especially when she performed the song "Swipe Kanan Kiri". That moment became one of the memories she took home from Jember.

"Thank God it went well. Everyone was excited. From the stage, we could see people in the back dancing along, especially during the song Swipe Kanan Kiri. I'm so happy to have this opportunity, to introduce my songs, and also to introduce myself to friends who might not know me yet. So, I hope there will always be opportunities in the future so I can entertain more people. Thank you," Sisca concluded.

Sisca Saras' first experience at JFC 2026, from the Gala Dinner to the parade and the main stage, became a series of moments she describes as unforgettable. The collaboration with Ayaka Yasumoto and the support from the audience in Jember left a deep impression on her performance.
