The Reason Rossa Started Introducing Raina to the Public

Singer Rossa attended the fourth birthday celebration of Cut Raifa Aramoana or Moana, the daughter of Ria Ricis, in the Andara area, Depok, on Sunday (26/7/2026). The singer of HATI YANG KAU SAKITI arrived while carrying her second daughter, Raina Mikayla Almahyra, who has recently started to be introduced to the public.

Raina's appearance attracted the attention of the invited guests. For almost two years, Rossa had hardly ever shown her child to the public, but now she is starting to be more open by bringing her to various events, including Moana's birthday party.

"Today I'm at Moana's birthday. Because I have a baby again, I was finally invited to a baby's birthday too," said Rossa.

At Moana's birthday party, Rossa attended as a guest. She mentioned that the invitation came directly from Ria Ricis, while Raina has now started to feel comfortable with the atmosphere of the party among children her age.

Rossa appeared while carrying Raina, a moment that had rarely been seen before in public. This presence marked one of Raina's first opportunities to appear in public with her mother at a major event.

The decision to bring Raina to Moana's birthday party also signals that Rossa is beginning to feel more at ease taking her daughter to events involving children, after previously choosing to maintain family privacy.

The singer, whose full name is Sri Rossa Roslaina Handiyani, explained the reason behind her decision to introduce Raina now. According to her, the child's readiness is the main consideration, alongside several administrative matters that need to be settled.

"I can't explain in detail, but it has been since she was a baby. Why now? Because I want her to be ready first, and I am also still taking care of a lot of paperwork and other things. Well, after she is ready to start school (preschool), then it's time," she revealed.

She emphasized that this decision was made after feeling that the time was right. Rossa chose a gradual approach, starting with bringing Raina to child-friendly events while ensuring that all administrative needs were met and Raina was ready to enter preschool.

Rossa dismissed the notion that she is hiding Raina's presence. She admitted that she does not often expose her personal life, but Raina continues to be active as usual in public spaces.

"Actually, I have never been one to expose much about my personal life. But I'm not hiding her. She's actually everywhere, just going to the mall, to restaurants, staying over at various places, people just don’t notice because it doesn’t cross their minds," she said.

Raina has even accompanied Rossa several times while she was working. When the diva held a concert, Raina was in the backstage area so as not to attract the attention of the audience and media.

"Since she was a baby, I've introduced her to the stage. When I had a concert last year, she was actually there too, but backstage. So no one noticed," she explained.

4. Returning to Take Care of Toddlers, Rossa's Story about Rizky and Preschool

For Rossa, raising a toddler again brings a new experience after her eldest son, Rizky Langit Ramadhan, has grown up. She says that the gap of over a decade makes her feel like she is learning to be a mother all over again.

"Rizky is now 19 years old, which means it’s been 17 years since I experienced having a baby. It turns out it’s still just as fun, I’m already starting to take her to preschool. I’m happy to relive it, it feels like a remedial class," said Rossa.

Rossa hopes that Raina Mikayla Almahyra can grow up well without being burdened by excessive attention. She chooses to introduce her daughter gradually, after assessing that the timing is right and Raina is ready to be known to the public.
