The Savior Figure of Bambang is Still Unknown, Meisya Siregar Tells the Chronology

Meisya Siregar recounts the incident when her son, Muhammad Bambang Arr Ray Bach, almost drowned in the waters of Bali. She reveals the condition of her child moments after being rescued and the efforts to find the person who saved him. This information was shared by Meisya when she was met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta.

"Right away actually. After being rescued, Bambang immediately ran to our table in shock," said Meisya Siregar when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Monday (20/7/2026).

According to Meisya's account, the moments after the evacuation happened quickly. Bambang rushed to his parents in a state of shock, while the identity of the rescuer who secured him from the water was still unknown.

1. Bambang's Reaction After Being Rescued

The incident occurred in the waters of Bali and was experienced by Bambang at night. After being pulled to safety, he reportedly ran straight to the family table. This spontaneous response happened before the family learned more about who had helped him.

The full name of the child, Muhammad Bambang Arr Ray Bach, was conveyed by Meisya in her statement. She emphasized that Bambang was very shocked at that time, but was able to reunite with his family once they were on land.

This near-drowning incident drew the family's attention, especially since the rescuer who saved Bambang had not yet been identified. At that point, Meisya was still trying to piece together the events based on the child's account.

After the situation calmed down, Meisya began to gather information from Bambang regarding the person who helped him. She asked a number of questions to obtain a description of the person in question, including the possibility of the helper's nationality.

"'Bambang, who saved you? What was the person like, kid? Were they a foreigner? Or local?' 'Bambang was hanging out with that uncle, the Arab uncle... that kind of foreign Arab uncle,'" Meisya said.

Meisya mentioned that Bambang still remembered quite detailed characteristics. Besides the description of the nationality that Bambang mentioned, he also recounted details about the object used to help him.

"'When Bambang was drowning, he didn't know who saved him, but Bambang remembers the person had tattoos. He was wearing pants, and then he threw a float to Bambang, it was orange.' So specific," Meisya said.

From that account, there were several characteristics that Bambang remembered: a tattooed man, wearing pants, and throwing an orange float towards him. However, until this information was conveyed, the identity and whereabouts of the helper were still unknown to the family.

3. Similar Incidents Experienced by Other Children

On the same occasion, Meisya mentioned that the incident that night did not only affect Bambang. She said there were several other children who experienced similar situations at the location.

"Bambang's friend saved a foreigner. And there were five other children who had the same incident while their parents were shouting, 'Help, help my child,'" Meisya said.

According to Meisya, the cries for help were heard from the panicked parents. She mentioned that the number of children who experienced similar incidents reached five that same night.
