Standupindo Holds First Padel Tournament: Praz Teguh, Oki Rengga, and Kiky Saputri Become Champions

Kapanlagi.com - The Stand Up Comedy Indonesia community, or better known as Standupindo, has just showcased its solidarity through fun activities outside the comedy stage. The community, led by President Adjis Doaibu, held its first padel tournament titled "Stand Up Indo Padel".

This event was attended by many comedians who showed high enthusiasm for the padel sport that is currently popular in Indonesia and took place on October 30, 2025, at Padel Arena Jakarta.

1. Emerging from Spontaneity

Adjis Doaibu revealed that the idea to create this tournament emerged spontaneously amid the rapidly growing trend of padel sports in Indonesia.

"In the midst of the booming padel scene in Indonesia, even though it feels late, Standupindo immediately formed a unit of kids who love padel. It was established around September, and then I immediately initiated that it would be fun to create a competition," he said.

2. Main Purpose of Organizing Padel

According to Adjis, the main purpose of this tournament is not just for sports and fun, but also to strengthen the bonds among community members.

"To make it more solid, to feel more like family again. Because the big events are held once a year like Stand Up Fest and Jamboree, so we need to create smaller events like this," he explained.

3. Open Tournament System

The tournament system is made open with a registration format for Standupindo members who are interested.

"The system is that they register, and those who have played often I inform right away. Many have never played but want to try. At first, they are scared, but I tell them it's okay, it's just for fun," said Adjis.

4. Enthusiasm of the Comedians

The enthusiasm of the comedians is apparently extremely high, with many even practicing intensively leading up to the competition day.

"Two weeks before, the vibe is like the vibe of Stand Up Fest. The comedians have started coaching in various places, some in Kemang, BSD, Bintaro, Depok. Even though it's just for fun, they still want to take it seriously," said Adjis while laughing.

5. The Winners of the Competition

This tournament was attended by dozens of participants across various categories, ranging from men's pairs, women's pairs, to mixed doubles. As a result, the men's doubles category was won by Oki Rengga and Boris Bokir, with Randhika Djamil and Patra Gumala in second place.

For the women's doubles, Aci Resti and Kiky Saputri emerged as the first champions, followed by Arafah Rianti and Ayi in second place. Meanwhile, in mixed doubles, the championship title was won by Praz Teguh and Ayi, with Ricky Wattimena and Happy as the runners-up. The Best Player award for men went to Oki Rengga, and the Best Player award for women went to Ayi.

6. Want to Strengthen Relationships

Adjis hopes that this activity can strengthen the relationships among community members who have been together for 14 years.

"The goal is to make the relationships closer after this tournament. I hope it serves as motivation to keep exercising, because behind a strong spirit, there must also be a healthy body," he said.

7. Big Plans Ahead

As the President of Standupindo, Adjis also announced big plans for next year. It is confirmed that in 2026 Standupindo will host many sports events with interesting concepts.

"We will create a larger padel tournament, with semifinals and finals broadcast live on YouTube. The venue will be more proper, and there will be ticket sales for the general audience. The year 2026 will be all about sports, including volleyball, badminton, tennis, soccer, mini soccer, and basketball," Adjis concluded optimistically.
