Starring in 'DEWI RINDU', Angela Gilsha Admits Acting with Heart for the First Time

This soap opera not only offers a fresh new story but also features many young actresses and actors. One of those involved is Angela Gilsha. She plays the character Dewi, the main character.

Angela admits that for the first time in her 6-year career, she acted with her heart while playing Dewi. She revealed this herself in a recent virtual interview.

"So far, from the first shooting until now, there hasn't been any burden and for the first time in 6 years, I feel enjoy because all this time I've been shooting without using my heart," she said.

Angela added how she now starts to love working with heart. In doing so, she doesn't feel stressed when acting.

"Now I start to use my heart, start to love my job and no longer stressed. Because actually before I did things that I didn't like, role demands," said the actress from Denpasar.

2. Spending Weeks

In addition to being starred by young stars, this soap opera also takes place in Banyuwangi - East Java. Angela admitted that she spent weeks there.

"Twice to Banyuwangi, the first time almost two weeks. Then after that, returning to Jakarta, it turns out that in episode 5 Dewi's parents followed to Banyuwangi and finally returned there for a week," she said.

3. Falling in Love

Interestingly, even though it was only a few weeks there, Angela has fallen in love with Banyuwangi.

"Wow, it's really great. I didn't expect to love Banyuwangi this much. We also filmed at tourist spots like Baluran and several beaches," Angela concluded.
