Starting from the Call of the Heart, Nova Eliza Distributes 1500 Groceries to Widows and the Elderly

Kapanlagi.com - In the midst of her busy schedule, Nova Eliza, as the founder of the Suara Hati Perempuan Foundation, recently collaborated with Bank Mandiri to carry out a social action by distributing 1500 groceries to women, especially widows, the elderly, victims of layoffs, and the less fortunate.
 
“Today, Alhamdulillah, there is a distribution of groceries in collaboration with Bank Mandiri and the Suara Hati Perempuan Foundation, giving 1500 groceries to Aceh, Jakarta, Sragen, Solo, Banyumas. Alhamdulillah, this has been implemented in Jakarta and will be carried out in other regions in the coming days,” said Nova Eliza after carrying out a social action in the Manggarai area, South Jakarta, on Monday (12/13).
 
“The idea of providing 1500 groceries to women, widows, the elderly, victims of layoffs, and the less fortunate is because we want to do something for others, especially women. Why women? Because women are still vulnerable, sometimes those who are laid off are mostly women with the reason that their husbands can earn money even though it's not certain how it is for widows. So why don't we give directly to the target,” she continued.
 

1. Not Only in Jakarta

This social action is not only carried out in Jakarta. But also in several other cities such as Aceh, Sragen, Solo, Banyumas. They also involve local residents to ensure that the distribution process of the aid is given to those who truly need it.
 
“We have carefully selected the cities, there are also neighborhood heads who have conducted selection to determine who is capable and who is not. Everything is based on data, we also involve local residents who know better which individuals deserve to receive the aid package. In Aceh, which is also my hometown, I need to do something,” said Nova Eliza.
 
Unfortunately, Nova Eliza did not have the opportunity to distribute directly in other cities because she still had to continue filming.
 
“I cannot go there yet because I am currently filming a web series. But the foundation has many volunteers, and we coordinate every day to ensure the smooth distribution of the aid packages in all areas,” she said.
 

2. Call of the Heart

As the founder of the Suara Hati Perempuan Foundation, which has been established since 2016, Nova Eliza has often carried out social actions.
 
“This foundation has been established since 2016. We have carried out many social actions, raising awareness, campaigning to stop violence against women. We have also involved 100 public figures, including Slank and several others. We also provide training for women's empowerment, honing their skills to become independent women, not dependent," she explained.
 
According to her, this is a call of the heart to do good to others, especially women.
 
“Yes, because I feel a calling in my heart, I want to do more for humanity, especially in the field of women. Since the age of 13, I have been shooting to earn money, needing a balance between humanity and making money. This is what I can do, to advance women, support women to women," she concluded.
