Starting from the Elif Indonesia SCTV soap opera, Nicole Rossi has become a children's idol but still prioritizes education

Kapanlagi.com - The name Nicole Elzabeth Rossi or Nicole Rossi has emerged in the Indonesian entertainment industry as a child actress who attracts attention. She started to be loved by many people when she starred as Elif in the Elif Indonesia soap opera that aired on SCTV when she was about five years old.

From there, Nicole began to transform into a new idol for children. Amidst the scarcity of child actresses who can inspire children, Nicole appeared with her cuteness and talent in acting. From there, she became involved in several films, including Sebelum Iblis Menjemput, Rumah Kentang, Mata Batin 2, and others.

The talent of this 10-year-old girl has been evident since a very young age. She started from being a commercial star, fashion shows, and singing.

"I participated in a food product photoshoot when I was 6 months old. At the age of 3, I participated in a fashion show and became a commercial star for children's flu medicine. I also took vocal lessons. I joined the Elif Indonesia soap opera when I was 5.5 years old," said Nicole when met in South Jakarta recently.

1. Educational Constraints

One of the constraints often faced by child artists is education. Many of them have to sacrifice either education or career. However, that is not a hindrance for Nicole. For her, education is still the number one priority.

"I usually ask for shooting/fotoshoot after school hours (after 12 noon), and I usually bring my school books to the shooting location, so I can study and do homework during my free time. When there is a shooting break, I call a private tutor to come to my house," explained the child artist who has many achievements in ballet.

Like most other child artists, Nicole also has idols. When asked about this, three names of big Indonesian artists who inspire Nicole in the entertainment world emerged.

"I like Kak Prilly Latuconsina, Kak Chelsea Agatha, and Kak Cinta Laura. They are good people and their acting is good. But I have never met Kak Cinta Laura. What I like about them is that they still prioritize school. Despite their busy activities, everything can go hand in hand," said Nicole.

2. Chasing Dreams

In 2020, Nicole continues to hold onto and pursue many of her dreams. One of them is her desire to release songs for children. Previously, when she was 7 years old, Nicole had already released a children's song titled Hello Everyone and Mama Papa Bilang.

"I definitely want to do better. Both in acting/vocal skills, hopefully they will improve, and hopefully in 2020 Nicole can release another children's single, because nowadays, children's songs are quite rare, so Nicole really wants to release children's songs again," Nicole hopes.
