Steven N. Kaligis, Vocalist of Steven & The Coconut Treez, Passed Away, Has Been Ill for a Year

Kapanlagi.com - Vocalist of the band Steven and The Coconut Treez, Steven Nugraha Kaligis, also known as Tepeng, passed away on Tuesday (22/6/2021). The sad news was announced directly by Steven & Coconut Treez on their official Instagram page.

According to bassist Steven & Coconut Treez, Rival Himran, Tepeng has been struggling with his illness for the past few years.

"Yes, to be honest, he has been enduring the pain for several years. There are illnesses that require special treatment," said Rival Himran, as quoted from Steven and Coconut Treez's Instagram on Tuesday (22/6/2021).

1. One Year Illness

Rival Himran did not explain in detail what illness the vocalist suffered from. What is clear is that after several years of fighting the pain, Tepeng managed to overcome his illness.

"The main thing is that he managed to get through it all and yesterday he was able to stabilize. But, honestly, the illness eventually sent him to be infected with one of the viruses that made his illness more dangerous," he said.

2. Prayers for the Late

As a close friend, he also asked for prayers from the wider community to pray for Tepeng.

"Please pray, my friends, may he have a good ending, may his sins be forgiven, and may all his good deeds be accepted. Amen, O Allah," he said.

"In essence, the best prayers for the family of Steven Nugraha Kaligis and also pray for our Coconut Treez extended family to remain steadfast and keep the spirit," he concluded.
