The horror film SENGKOLO: MAYAT'S BATH will be directed by Hanny Saputra based on a script by Rebecca M Bath. Featuring a lineup of popular actors such as Donny Alamsyah, Fauzan Nazrul, Nesia Weroza Puspa, and Kenya Nindia.
SENGKOLO: MAYAT'S BATH is produced by Raam Punjabi and Ody Mulya Hidayat. These two veteran producers in the Indonesian film industry are confident that their latest production will pique public curiosity.
"The stories from Javanese culture are so rich and interesting, one of them is about Sengkolo. We are very excited to bring this story because it is inspired by real events," said Ody as quoted from a text message received by KapanLagi.com, Friday (3/11/2023).
The horror film SENGKOLO: PEMANDI MAYAT tells the story of a man who has just lost his wife and children on the night of one suro. This incident has caused him to be depressed and lose his faith.
Hanny Saputra as the director will not only present terrifying terror, but also a drama that drains emotions. "There is a romantic and touching human side in this horror film. So it's not just something tense," explained Hanny
