Kapanlagi.com - Jefri Nichol was forced to accept his defeat against El Rumi in the Superstar Knockout boxing ring held at Mahaka Square, North Jakarta, on Friday night (17/11). El Rumi was announced as the champion after the referee and judges announced the scores of each fighter.
The points obtained by Ahmad Dhani and Maia Estianty's second son were declared to be superior to his opponent, Jefri Nichol. Therefore, Jefri had to reluctantly accept the referee's decision and chose to leave the ring before the championship belt was wrapped around El Rumi's waist.

When met after the match, Jefri Nichol expressed his disappointment over his defeat. Despite being disappointed, Jefri stated that the match between him and El Rumi was fair because he admitted to running out of stamina in the final round.
"I'm disappointed for sure because my stamina ran out in the fourth round, you can see it for yourself," said Jefri Nichol.
"Fair. I still need a lot of endurance training," he added.

As he moved on, Jefri also apologized for the disappointment of the supporters who had to witness his defeat. He also promised to soon request a rematch with El Rumi.
"Sorry to those who bet on me. Re-match!" he exclaimed.
