“Yes, it has been reported to the Jakarta Metro Police. On November 8,” said Julia Assad to the media, Thursday (16/11).

After Leon Dozan was reported, Julia Assad stated that Leon Dozan's parents, Willy Dozan and Betharia Sonata, contacted her and apologized for their son's actions towards Rinoa Aurora.

"There was an apology. On the day of the incident, Rinoa immediately underwent a medical examination, but the hospital requested a referral letter from the police, so Noa had to go to the Criminal Investigation Unit (SPKT) first to get the referral letter for the examination at the hospital. After that, a report was made," explained Julia Assad.

"The next day, Leon's parents called, but the report had already been made and they had apologized. But at the beginning of that evening (the incident), I contacted Mr. Willy but there was no response. So it has been reported to the Jakarta Metro Police," she continued.

Leon Dozan's family has already admitted their mistake. However, as a mother, seeing her child being subjected to such violence is certainly unacceptable. Moreover, this incident has occurred twice already, and it has made Julia Assad worried because Leon Dozan often suddenly shows up where her child is.

"Yes, they admit that Leon is at fault. But as parents, we are also worried because Leon often shows up unexpectedly. So we have to take legal action," said Julia Assad.

Julia Assad also understands the feelings of Willy Dozan and Betharia Sonata as parents. However, if this incident continues to be ignored, there is a fear that it will happen again.

"But as a parent, I also understand how Betharia Sonata's mother and Mr. Willy feel about their child. But what can we do if we don't report it, Leon keeps doing it. So it's already uncomfortable, Rinoa is already uncomfortable with him," she concluded.

As previously known, a viral video of Leon Dozan allegedly assaulting Rinoa Aurora circulated. In the video, which was spread on social media, they were seen in a car park and Leon Dozan had his hand around his girlfriend's neck. He even dared and claimed not to be afraid of being reported to the police.
