For the sake of comfort, the prosthetic can only be used by Syifa Hadju for nine hours. If left for longer, the adhesive will weaken.
"I was given a maximum of nine hours. If used for more than that, the prosthetic becomes heavier because the adhesive weakens. There was a day when I was so tired because it was used for more than 12 hours and we were shooting until morning, I cried because I couldn't handle it," explained Syifa.
2. Offered to Gain Real Weight
Before accepting the offer, Syifa Hadju was actually given the option to gain weight. But because of the tight schedule, it was agreed to use prosthetics and a fat suit.
"At the beginning of this project, I was asked if it was possible to gain weight. I said, maybe if I was given a lot of time because gaining weight that much needs to be consulted with a doctor. It turned out that the time was short so it was decided to use prosthetics," she said.
