Rudo is then wrongfully accused of Regto's murder and sentenced to an unimaginable punishment: being exiled to The Pit, along with the other trash. Unable to escape his fate, Rudo vows to take revenge on those who have framed him.

After being thrown into The Pit, Rudo awakens disoriented in a landscape of endless, foul-smelling garbage. He is attacked by large creatures made of trash, known as "Trash Beasts". Rudo manages to fight them off until he is rescued by a man named Enjin.

Enjin explains to Rudo that he is not underground, but has fallen to the surface from "The Sphere," the floating city where he lived before.

After testing Rudo and awakening his powers as a "Giver," Enjin invites Rudo to join him as a "Cleaner," a group that fights against trash monsters.

Rudo possesses a "Vital Instrument" in the form of gloves called 3R, given to him by Regto, allowing him to give life to three objects he holds, especially trash, to be used as weapons or tools.
