The year 2024 has become a year full of sorrow for actress Tamara Tyasmara. The departure of her son, Raden Andante Khalif Pramudityo or Dante, has left a deep wound that has yet to heal. Check out Tamara's story about how she feels happy to meet her son in a dream.
On Dante's 7th birthday, Tamara chose to hold a celebration at her son's grave, even though she admitted she was hesitant to do so.
"It must be heavy, what can I do, I have to be strong. Earlier, I was hesitant to come here. But I was afraid that later people would be waiting, so I just decided to come here," said Tamara at the Jeruk Purut TPU, South Jakarta, Thursday (26/12/2024).
Besides the longing that continues to linger, Tamara also often dreams about Dante. However, she mentions that Dante never speaks in her dreams, he only appears in silence. Those moments provide her with some comfort amidst the feeling of loss.
"Of course, I dream about him. It's frequent that I dream. But in my dreams, he never talks, he just stays silent. The important thing is that he is there, and I am already very happy even if it's just in a dream," she said.
Tamara has been planning the celebration for Dante's birthday for a long time. She considered holding the event at an orphanage, but ultimately decided to hold it at Dante's grave. Tamara is also planning another event to commemorate the one-year anniversary of her son's passing on January 27th.
"It's been a while. Initially, it was supposed to be at the beach, but on January 27, it's been a year, so we ended up doing it twice. Today and later on the anniversary," said Tamara.
For the commemoration of Dante's one-year passing, Tamara plans to hold it at home. The moment will be a continuation of Dante's birthday celebration, which was held with great emotion at the grave.
"I think at home. His birthday is now here," she said.
