As a single mother, Tamara was deeply devastated by the loss of her child. For the past three days, she has been confused as she no longer engages in her usual activities with the deceased.

"Because I'm always with Dante every day, it's really heavy not having him around, so I'm confused like I want to die. Usually I take him to his lessons, school, but now I'm confused," said Tamara, when met at her residence in Tebet area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday night (30/1/2024).

After Dante passed away, Tamara Tyasmara realized that a few days before, her son had been behaving strangely. First, when Dante drew pictures of Palestinian children and wanted to meet them.

"I only became suspicious after Dante was gone. I started thinking and connecting the dots, that's why he was like that before. Because usually, before someone passes away, they give signs," said Tamara.

"Yesterday the child drew pictures of Palestinian children, he drew them on paper, (there were) angels above them. He said 'I want to meet the Palestinian children, it's so pitiful, Mom'," she added.

Not only drawing, Tamara Tyasmara said her child looked weak and unwilling to play with his phone three days before he died. That's why when Dante showed enthusiasm for swimming, Tamara allowed it.

"Usually I scold him for playing with his phone. But for the past three days, he left it aside until his friends messaged him to play. Then, when he wanted to swim, he was very excited," Tamara concluded.

"That's why, because he was so excited, I dropped him off (at the swimming pool) but told him not to swim yet. He said 'Okay, okay' and asked 'What time will you come?'. He was weak before, but he was enthusiastic about swimming. So, that's it," she continued.
