According to Tasya's legal team, this separation occurred alongside the religious pronouncement of divorce from Ahmad Assegaf to Tasya. This moment happened a few days before the lawsuit was submitted to the Religious Court.

"It should also be emphasized that prior to this, Mrs. Tasya has been divorced religiously since September 10, before this lawsuit was filed. She has been divorced by the defendant, her ex-husband," said Tasya Farasya's attorney, Sangun Ragahdo, at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (24/9/2025).

With the divorce, their marriage status religiously has ended. This is followed by the decision to live separately, indicating that efforts to maintain the household are no longer possible.

"Even before the lawsuit was filed, Mrs. Tasya and her ex-husband had already separated. So they are no longer living together," asserted Sangun.

The decision to separate is reinforcing the grounds for the divorce petition, which is the ongoing disputes that make it impossible for both to be expected to reconcile.

"So what we are using is the issue of ongoing disputes that make reconciliation impossible," he said.

The mediation session that has been held ended in failure or deadlock to reunite them. This further emphasizes that separation is the only way for the couple who have been blessed with two children.

"Deadlock in the sense that the result of this mediation cannot lead to reconciliation. Therefore, the next session will be held on October 8, 2025," he concluded.
