Tears of Joy from Mother Tamara Tyasmara Hearing Yudha Arfandi Sentenced to Death Related to Dante's Death

Kapanlagi.com - The continuation of the trial for the death case of Raden Adante Khalif Pramudityo alias Dante was just held at the East Jakarta District Court on Monday (23/9/2024). The Public Prosecutor (JPU) has submitted the maximum demand for the death penalty to the defendant, Yudha Arfandi.

Tamara Tyasmara's attorney, Neo Sandy Purba, stated that the family, including Tamara, feels grateful for the maximum demand given by the JPU. "So the demands from the JPU have been conveyed, and we, along with the family, Ms. Tamara, today express our gratitude and thank you because the demand given is the maximum," said Neo Sandy Purba after the trial.

1. Next Agenda of Defense

In addition, Neo also revealed that the next agenda is the defense scheduled for October 7. "For that, we will have a long discussion later, because the next agenda is the defense on October 7 and there are several other agendas that were mentioned by the council," he explained.

An emotional moment was also evident when Tamara Tyasmara's mother, Ristya Aruni, could not hold back her tears upon hearing the reading of the indictment. When asked about her feelings, Ristya admitted that her tears were triggered by memories of her grandson, Dante.

"Yes (remembering my grandson)," Ristya expressed.

2. Punishment According to Expectations

Neo Sandy Purba added that Ristya is still very overwhelmed with emotions, making it difficult to express more words. "She (Tamara's mother) seems to still find it hard to talk," he said.

Ristya also stated that the death penalty demand for Yudha Arfandi is in line with what she hoped for. "Yes, it’s just as expected, yes," she said briefly.

The defense hearing is scheduled for October 7, 2024, where the defendant will present their defense.
