Teuku Dewi Does Not Expect Much from Andrew Andika to Support Their Child, Says She Can Fight Alone

Kapanlagi.com - The Cibinong Religious Court in West Java has officially granted the divorce petition of Teuku Dewi against her husband, Andrew Andika, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. This ruling marks the end of a long chapter in their marriage, which had faced various issues.

In response to this news, Teuku Dewi made a statement while her attorney, Minola Sebayang, contacted her via video call from his office in the Kuningan area of South Jakarta on Thursday (19/12/2024).

"Alhamdulillah, I also want to express my gratitude to my legal team, Bang Minola and the team, finally the petition has been granted," said Teuku Dewi with a tone of gratitude.

1. Hoping for a Good Start in Life

On this occasion, Dewi emphasized that this decision is the best thing for herself and Andrew. Nevertheless, she still hopes that a good relationship can continue for the sake of their children.

"I am very grateful, hopefully this will be a good start for me and also for Andrew," she added briefly.

However, Dewi admitted that she could not be present to accompany the interview with her lawyer, as she is currently in Bali. She appreciates the hard work of her legal team who continues to monitor this case until it is resolved.

2. The Division of Joint Property Has Been Mutually Agreed Upon

"Sorry friends, I can't go there yet because I'm currently in Bali with the kids. Thank you for following my case until we finally got this decision, I am very grateful. Thank you so much," she expressed.

Regarding the division of joint property, Dewi stated that this has been agreed upon by both parties. However, she emphasized that she does not want to expect too much and chooses to focus on living her life moving forward.

"That has also been agreed upon regarding the joint property. But again, I don’t want to expect too much," she said.

3. Do Not Force Andrew to Fulfill His Responsibilities

Furthermore, Dewi realizes that the financial responsibility for the children in the future may not be fully borne by Andrew. She is committed to continue fighting on her own for her family's needs.

"Let's just see later if he wants to give, then thank God, but if he doesn't have the ability yet, I'll just struggle on my own," Dewi clearly does not force herself.

4. Optimistic Facing the Future
