As the wedding with Cleantha Islan is scheduled for next April, actor Teuku Rassya admits he is enjoying the moments of being a groom-to-be. Although he realizes that organizing a wedding is not an easy task, he feels the process is very exciting and provides him with many new experiences.

"I’m also just learning since it’s my first time getting married, Alhamdulillah Insya Allah it will be just this one time," explained Teuku Rassya when met in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (1/13/2026).

"But it turns out there are a lot of things that need to be prepared for our wedding. Whether it's the venue, the decorations, it's quite interesting and also fun to create what you call a special event," Teuku Rassya continued.

Many are curious whether Teuku Rassya's wedding will be held in a luxurious manner, considering his status as a public figure. One of the aspects that often gets attention is the issue of souvenirs. However, Rassya responds to this very humbly and does not want to feel pressured by other people's expectations.

"I definitely appreciate anyone who comes, who takes the time to attend. And as much as possible, I will give what I can, not to show off or anything like that, but just according to my ability," he asserted.

Teuku Rassya emphasized that he does not feel any pressure at all in preparing for this wedding. For him, the most important thing is the sanctity of the event and the happiness of the family, not just flaunting luxury. He is also trying to preserve his energy so he doesn't get exhausted during the preparation process.

"So far, Alhamdulillah, nothing has drained my energy. And I hope there won't be anything in the future either. But I'm just trying to enjoy everything that needs to be done to prepare for this event," he said.

When asked about honeymoon plans after officially getting married, Rassya admitted he does not have a definite plan yet. His main focus right now is still fully dedicated to the smoothness of the wedding event in Jakarta. "I don't know yet. I don't know (honeymoon plans)," he said.
