Teuku Zacky Changes Name to Jordan, Here's the Reaction from the Child and Mother

Kapanlagi.com - Teuku Zacky has added the name Jordan to his official name. This decision made his children curious, but he mentioned that the family continues to provide support.

"Yeah, they support me too. It's just that the kids were a bit confused. 'What’s going on, Daddy?' like that. 'What’s going on?,'" said Teuku Zacky when met in the Pasar area, South Jakarta, Friday (14/8/2026).

He conveyed this change when meeting the media in South Jakarta. Zacky explained the reason behind the name addition to his children and emphasized that this decision is important to him.

Zacky said he has explained to his children, although they still often question its urgency.

"Yeah, I gave an explanation, even though they still keep asking questions like, 'Is it really that important?' like that. Well, for me, it is important," said Zacky.

He added that the explanation given was just enough, because at home the children do not call him by name.

"I just explained as necessary to the kids. But they support me even though, you know, they don’t call me by name, they call me Daddy and stuff like that," Zacky explained.

According to Zacky, the use of Jordan applies officially, while the way the children call him remains the same as usual.

2. Mother Immediately Approved the Name Jordan

Outside of the child's response, Zacky was actually surprised by his mother's attitude. According to him, the blessing was given immediately after he conveyed the plan to add a name.

"What surprised me was yes. So at that moment I conveyed, I might also remember that my grandfather used to say, 'this child should be like this and that' or whatever," he said.

He mentioned that his mother remembered that family story and supported the decision without many questions.

"Then my mother might also remember that, and just like that. The important thing is that you are happy with that name," Zacky concluded.

Zacky stated that his mother's blessing made his step to add the name Jordan even more certain.
