Kapanlagi.com - Ayu Ting Ting celebrated the 81st Independence Day on Monday (17/8/2026) in a different way. Usually, she joins the festivities with the residents around her home, but this time the singer of Alamat Palsu chose to hold a competition at the padel court with her family and her boyfriend, Kevin Gusnadi.
Kevin's presence at the event brings special happiness to Ayu. "Oh happy, happy, thank God. We also asked if he was unwell, he didn't need to join, but thank God he wanted to participate," said Ayu Ting Ting when met in the Depok area, West Java, on Monday (17/8/2026).

This year's independence commemoration was filled by Ayu Ting Ting with various competitions at the padel field. She celebrated it with her closest family and Kevin Gusnadi, who was present to accompany her.
The choice of location marks a change from Ayu's usual practice of celebrating Indonesia's Independence Day with the residents around her home. This year, she focused the activities with her closest people at the padel sports arena.
After the event, Ayu was met by media crews in the Depok area, West Java. In that meeting, she expressed her happiness because Kevin still came despite his health condition not being fully fit.
Ayu mentioned that Kevin was present even though he had been advised to rest. She stated that she had asked about her boyfriend's condition and allowed him not to join if he was indeed unwell, but Kevin chose to stay by her side.
On the same occasion, Ayu explained the reason for the bandage on Kevin's temple that was visible during the event. "Oh this (Kevin's temple is bandaged), it's because he fell yesterday, so it's quite a bit. It’s not because he participated in the competition earlier, like getting hit by a ball, no," she explained.
Ayu also added that Kevin had fallen before the August 17 celebration that day. She emphasized that the injury was not due to the competition held at the padel field.
When asked further about her relationship with Kevin, Ayu chose not to comment much. According to her, romantic matters do not need to be exposed too much in public space.
"There are not two families. Just one family, don't make it too big. I'm not talking big, just living it out," she concluded.
Aside from her statement, Ayu did not add any other details about the continuation of the relationship. She emphasized that she prefers to continue without amplifying the news.
