"They are victims. They only use it and only 0.78 grams, from a legal perspective they are only users, not dealers, so there is no need to use weapons," he continued.

As legal counsel, Wa Ode will strive to ensure that Nia Ramadhani and Ardi Bakrie can receive rehabilitation from their addiction. These efforts must be made so that when they return to society, they are clean and free from dependency.

"Yes, in this matter. God willing, we are also preparing for rehabilitation, God willing, in the near future, assessments can be conducted by the police and rehabilitation can be provided because the law requires it, even in Law No. 35 of 2009, it is mandatory to provide medical treatment to victims and of course, later they can return to society, so there is also social rehabilitation. Please pray for us, this is a trial, anyone can experience this," she said.

Furthermore, representing the family, Wa Ode emphasized that the police's actions in combating drugs should be supported. Mental support should also be given to drug users because, in her opinion, addicts are victims.

"We must provide support to the police in combating drugs, support for drug abusers to quit, so they won't be cornered, even though they are pitiful victims. No one hopes to become a victim," she concluded.
