Recruited by Warner Music Indonesia, Daun Jatuh Band Presents 'Momen'

Kapanlagi.com - The folk-pop music group from Tangerang, Daun Jatuh, has just released a single titled Momen. This marks the debut of the band consisting of Verrel Alvirizky, Timothy Gunung Tua, Jessen Nathanael, William, Mufti Ahmad Fadilah, and Azrial Ismail, along with Warner Music Indonesia.

The song Momen was written based on the experience of one of Daun Jatuh's guitarists, Timothy Gunung Tua. His parents fought against the Covid-19 virus. From there, he realized the importance of cherishing loved ones in every moment.

"Yes, I took this from my anxiety when facing the viral disease lately (Covid-19). I am very aware that time and moments are very precious. Our moments and time cannot be repeated," said Timothy during a virtual press conference on Friday (9/7/2021).

The song Momen has a very deep message. In fact, when working on the song, the members of Daun Jatuh shed tears.

"So every process of making this song, my tears always flow, from the workshop process, recording, to shooting the music video," said Verrel, the vocalist of Daun Jatuh.

The song Momen has been released through Warner Music Indonesia. The song can be enjoyed on various streaming services, as well as on the official YouTube channel of daunjatuh music for its music video.

2. Already Famous on TikTok

"This song has its own meaning for my life. It's very heavy," said Varrel.

Actually, the band Daun Jatuh is no stranger to TikTok users. The song by Daun Jatuh titled Resah Jadi Luka has gained great attention on TikTok.

"Actually, I wrote the song Resah Jadi Luka. So, I wrote it and kept it. I asked Timothy to create a song and it was released in 2018. So Daun Jatuh emerged when we immediately released that single," said Verrel.

"Yeah, that's a song from 2018, originally intended as a memento of high school. But in 2020, the song went viral on TikTok, turns out a sad song can also trend on TikTok," Varrel concluded.
