The Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Abdul Haris emphasized that without operational permission from the government, academic degrees obtained from foreign universities such as UIPM cannot be recognized.
He explained that all private universities and foreign higher education institutions wishing to operate in Indonesia must meet the requirements set forth in the Higher Education Law and the Minister of Education Regulations.
UIPM emphasizes that their existence as an online university has been clearly published on their official website, and they have several offices in various countries, including Thailand and Indonesia.
