Kapanlagi.com - The director of the film VINA: BEFORE 7 DAYS, Anggy Umbara, spoke about the arrest of Pegi alias Perong alias Egy in the murder case of Vina Dewi Arsita, a 16-year-old teenager from Cirebon in 2016. "My response is hopefully there is no mistaken arrest, hopefully it is true that the fugitive is the perpetrator of the crime and can be fairly prosecuted according to the applicable law, without any power abuse or intimidation towards the law in this country, that's it," said Anggy Umbara when contacted by phone on Wednesday (22/5).
"If he is guilty, he should be punished, if he is proven innocent, he should be released," he added.
In addition, Anggy feels quite satisfied after producing a film based on the case. Moreover, since the release of the film, it can be said that it has become the trigger for this case.
"As for personal satisfaction, it's more about being grateful actually, that what we have been doing together with the team in making the film, receiving criticism, accepting the consequences," he said.
"We are grateful for the results, that we can provide insights and changes," he concluded.
