"When we were held hostage, it was just me and Bili (Tresno) inside the counter. We wanted to get out but couldn't, we were already surrounded. We looked from the inside, and it was crazy, they were bringing bamboo, chains, all sorts of things. Wow, if we go out, we're dead," recalled Yoss.

The evacuation process was indeed dramatic. The personnel had to be rescued using an armored vehicle belonging to the security forces. However, the journey out of the event location was not smooth. The vehicle they were in continued to be targeted by the mob.

"We were evacuated using an armored vehicle. Even on the way to the toll road, we were still being poked at with bamboo. It felt like a demonstration or something," added Trisno.
