The Touching Story of Brother L Reminding Rizky Billar and Lesti Kejora to Donate

Rizky Billar is very grateful to see the development of his eldest son's character, Muhammad Levian or Brother L. Behind his adorable behavior, it turns out Brother L already has a very high sense of empathy for others. This is proven by the child's habit of often reminding his parents to share.

Billar recounts a touching moment that often happens when they are on a journey. Without being asked, Brother L will give a spontaneous reaction when he sees someone in need on the side of the road. He is even unhesitant to remind his parents if they forget to give donations.

"Not only zakat, but even charity has been taught to him since he was little. For example, when he is in the car, if he sees a beggar or a street musician, he will definitely... even when his parents forget, he reminds them, 'Dad, Mom, there's a street musician, can we give some money to share?'," said Rizky Billar when met in the Ampera area, South Jakarta, Thursday (3/5/2026).

For Billar, positive things like this must indeed be nurtured from an early age so that they become a character that sticks until adulthood later.

He feels proud because the values of goodness that he teaches together with Lesti have started to bear fruit. Abang L seems to have a natural alarm for helping fellow humans.

"Positive things like that have indeed been instilled from the beginning. And later on zakat, not yet, but maybe soon we will explain what zakat is," explained Lesti Kejora's husband.

Billar believes that religious education is not just about worship rituals, but also about social relationships with other people.

He wants Abang L to understand that in every sustenance received, there is a right belonging to others that must be distributed.

"Yes, we have indeed been teaching religious education and moral education from an early age," said Rizky Billar.
