Celebrity couple Aditya Zoni and Yasmine Ow are currently on the verge of separation. This is because Yasmine Ow recently filed for divorce at the Cibinong Religious Court in West Java. Abdullah Emile Oemar as Aditya Zoni's lawyer revealed that his client was not surprised by Yasmine Ow's decision to end their marriage with Aditya Zoni.
"No, Adit is not surprised. So, it can be said that it was expected that Yasmine would take such a step," said Abdullah Emile Oemar at his office in Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (15/5/2024).
However, initially Aditya Zoni did not know that he had been sued for divorce by his wife. The younger brother of Ammar Zoni found out about it after many news reports about him.
"So, if you're surprised, no. But when I asked if he knew, he said he didn't know. He said he also found out from the media. He hasn't received a letter from the Cibinong Religious Court," said Emile.
"Because from our side, we have not received any notification of invitation or a copy of the lawsuit from the Cibinong Religious Court until today, May 15, 2024. We cannot provide any answers, clarifications, and responses," Emile added.
Emile indeed does not want to talk much about the breakdown of the household that his client is experiencing with Yasmine Ow. However, he admits that it is the main issue.
"Indeed, there is an issue, but Aditya has not been 100% open with me. We had a little consultation about it and I have given guidance to Aditya Zoni," Emile concluded.
Many people surely regret Yasmine Ow's decision, especially since they always appeared harmonious. Hopefully, whatever the outcome, it has become the best decision for Aditya Zoni and Yasmine Ow.
