Threatened with Defamation Article, Shandy Aulia Will Cooperate with Police Summons

Kapanlagi.com - Film actress Shandy Aulia visited the Directorate of General Crime Investigation of the Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday morning (27/1/2022). She was not alone, she was accompanied by Sandy Arifin as her legal advisor.

Shandy's visit is in order to fulfill the summons for questioning by the investigators. This is the result of a defamation case reported by a woman named Laura Aprilya Bakkara.

1. Answering Dozens of Questions

Shandy Aulia underwent questioning for approximately three hours. By the investigator, the mother of Claire Herbowo was bombarded with dozens of questions regarding Laura Aprilya Bakkara's report last year.

"Today's agenda is accompanying our client, Ms. Shandy Aulia, undergoing questioning at the Cyber Crime Subdivision. She has already answered seventeen questions that cannot be disclosed yet, it's a secret," said Sandy Arifin after the questioning.

2. Providing Evidence of Denial

In addition to being questioned, Shandy Aulia also provided some evidence. This is to refute the report from the party that reported it.

"Earlier, we provided screenshots and several recordings that Ms. Shandy has submitted to the investigators. So that they can be studied by the investigators as soon as possible," said Sandy Arifin.

3. Following Legal Process

Shandy Aulia faces imprisonment if the report from Laura Aprilya Bakkara is proven true. As a good citizen, she will cooperate.

"From the beginning, there were netizen friends who commented on my child and it continued until today," said Shandy on the same occasion.

"We will always be present to fulfill the calls. As a good citizen, we will follow the legal process," concluded Sandy as a legal advisor.

4. No Reconciliation

As previously known, Laura Aprilya Bakkara reported Shandy Aulia on August 27, 2021. That route was taken because Shandy was allegedly involved in defamation.

The report from Laura is listed with case number LP/B/514/VII/2021/SPKT/Bareskrim Polri. Rinto Maha, as Laura's legal representative, stated that his client does not want reconciliation because she is already hurt by the actress's behavior.
