Through BEN & JODY, Chicco Jerikho Successfully Realizes Glenn Fredly's Wishes During His Lifetime

This was conveyed to his friend, Chicco Jerikho after watching an action film. But before he could realize it, Glenn Fredly was called by God.

Finally, Chicco Jerikho is happy because the desire of his late friend can be realized, through his latest film titled Ben & Jody, which was inspired by the late Glenn Fredly's idea.

"If you ask if there is a spirit (of Glenn Fredly)? It's here. All of Glenn's spirit, stand for something, the most important thing," said Chicco after the launch of the trailer and poster for Ben & Jody at Epicentrum XXI, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Wednesday (5/1).

2. Experience Injustice

Indeed, director Angga Dwimas Sasongko crafted the film with the issue of land conversion that was a concern and care of the late Glenn Fredly when he was still alive.

"There are many Indonesians who experience that injustice. That's what we want to capture," said Chicco.

3. Starring Famous Actors

Chicco hopes that the film, which will premiere in theaters on January 27, 2022, can be enjoyed by film enthusiasts in the country. Moreover, the film also stars renowned actors such as Rio Dewanto, Hana Malasan, Aghniny Haque, Yayan Ruhian, and Muzzaki Ramdhan.

4. 2022 Resolution

Chicco himself also wants everything he experiences to be better in 2022. The husband of Putri Marino wants to be more relaxed in his work this year.

"Yes, resolutions for the good. Hoping for the best for 2022 because it has been exhausting for the past few years," said Chicco Jerikho when met during the press conference for the film Ben & Jody, at XXI Epicentrum Kuningan, South Jakarta, Wednesday (5/1).

5. Not Yet Adding Children

In addition, the 37-year-old man admitted that there are no plans to add children. This has been agreed upon by him and his wife, Putri Marino.

"Because we are both busy and we haven't discussed adding children yet," he said.
