Zoey, Joanna Alexandra's third child, was admitted to the hospital on May 12, 2024.
From Joanna Alexandra's personal Instagram account, her daughter's platelets have decreased due to dengue fever.
"Admitted to the hospital because the lab results last night were not good. NS1 positive, platelet count 80. This morning, after another blood test, it dropped to 67," wrote Joanna Alexandra on her Instagram.
Zoey's condition is gradually improving. Joanna also mentioned that her daughter no longer has a fever and only feels weak.
What's interesting is that Joanna mentioned her daughter is actually happy because it's her first time being hospitalized.
"She's happy, finally experiencing being taken care of in the hospital. She has never experienced it before. When her clothes were changed, she entered the room, covered herself with a blanket, she even laughed," said the mother of four children.
Grateful for being hospitalized for three days, Zoey's condition has improved and she can finally go home.
