Trisno PAS Band Complains of Dizziness and Experiences Swelling in His Legs Before Being Found to Have Kidney Failure

Kapanlagi.com - The Indonesian music world mourns the passing of Bambang Sutrisno, or Trisno PAS Band, who died at the age of 55. The bassist of PAS Band passed away amid medical treatment he had undergone in recent weeks.

Sandy, the drummer of PAS Band, detailed the initial news of Trisno's declining condition until he eventually received hospital care. He shared this when met in Depok on Saturday (01/08/2026).

"Two weeks ago, the friends in PAS Band got news that Trisno was sick in his boarding house, he said he had a headache. And as usual, he didn’t want to check his health, he just felt everything himself," said Sandy when met in Depok on Saturday (01/08/2026).

1. Initial Complaints and Efforts to Take to the Hospital

According to Sandy, Trisno's health condition had been declining for the past few months. He had complained of dizziness and experienced swelling in his legs before finally agreeing to be taken to the hospital.

"Two weeks ago we took him to the hospital and after examination, it was found that he had kidney failure. Only 5% function left," said Sandy.

The information received by the PAS Band personnel began with news that Trisno was unwell at his boarding house. At that time, he complained of dizziness and had not yet consulted a healthcare facility.

2. Doctor's Findings and Decision for Surgery

Examinations at the hospital concluded that Trisno's kidney function was at 5 percent. This condition became the focus of medical treatment during his care.

On the other hand, the doctor also found issues in the head area. "And what makes it worse is that there are two blockages in his head, blood vessel blockages that, if left untreated, could lead to a stroke. So according to the doctor, this needs to be operated on," he said.

At the doctor's recommendation, Trisno underwent a procedure to open the blood vessels. This step was taken to address the risks mentioned by the medical team.

3. Condition Fluctuating Until Passing Away

After undergoing surgery, Trisno's condition fluctuated. He was even declared critical while being treated in the hospital despite medical actions being taken.

"After the surgery, thank God it was successful, but the negative effect was that he started having seizures. A few times when I visited, I tried to talk to him, 'Come on Bro, get better, get better,'" recalled Sandy while holding back tears.

Trisno then took his last breath at 14:47 WIB. His passing marked the end of a long journey of medical treatment he had undergone in recent weeks.

4. Return of the Body and Burial Location

After being declared passed away, Trisno's body is planned to be returned from the hospital for the burial procession.

"Insyaallah the grave will be at the Public Cemetery (TPU) Cikutra, Bandung," concluded Sandy.

Sandy is the drummer of PAS Band, while Trisno was known as the bassist of the group. Information regarding the condition and burial plans was conveyed by Sandy during a meeting in Depok.
