Unable to Hold Back Tears, Baim Wong Reveals Reasons for Divorce - Exposes Allegations of Paula Verhoeven's Infidelity

Baim Wong finally speaks out regarding his decision to file for divorce from Paula Verhoeven. Baim reveals the reasons behind his decision. One of the main reasons is the alleged infidelity of Paula Verhoeven with Baim's own close friend.

"Actually, my position is difficult, I can say that I have been betrayed by two people closest to me, one from the female side and one from the male side, and the male is my own close friend," said Baim at a press conference at the Tiger Wong Entertainment office, South Jakarta, Tuesday (10/8/2024).

Baim admitted that he had tried to forgive when he first learned about Paula's affair. However, as time went on, the burden he felt became heavier, leading him to feel that he had to take decisive action.

"Actually, when the incident happened, I had already forgiven on the first day, but in my own way. I didn't expect that when I found out there was a phone call from that man, it was replaced by the woman’s side," said Baim.

The suspicion of the affair, according to Baim, had been happening since November 2023. For almost a year, he held everything in by himself and tried to keep this issue from surfacing in public.

“Sometimes I also find it hard to believe. Let alone you guys, I myself don’t believe what has happened to me,” Baim said, expressing his disbelief about what he experienced.

The pain and increasing pressure made Baim finally decide to take legal action. He feels that this is the most appropriate path for himself and his family.

"I sometimes also can't believe it myself. Let alone you, I don't even believe what has happened to me," said Baim.

"I also don't want to assume the worst, but from the chain of all this, because this dishonesty has been around for a year. I sometimes also can't believe it myself. Let alone you, I don't even believe what has happened to me. Because I have been holding everything in for a year, I did it for my child. When it comes to talking about my child, whatever...

On October 8, 2024, Baim officially filed for divorce from Paula Verhoeven at the South Jakarta Religious Court. This application has been registered with case number 3477/Pdt.G/2024/PA.JS. The couple, who married on November 22, 2018, has been blessed with two sons, Kiano Tiger Wong and Kenzo Eldrago Wong.
