Unfulfilled Desire to Have a Son, Aldi Taher: The Important Thing is that My Wife and Daughter are Healthy

Kapanlagi.com - The hopes of Aldi Taher and his wife Salsabillih, who hoped that their unborn child would be a boy, have been dashed. After undergoing an examination, it was revealed that the baby is a girl.

"Alhamdulillah, my wife is already five months pregnant. We had a check-up earlier and the doctor said it's a girl. My wife had hoped for a boy, so they would be a pair," said Aldi Taher when met in the Cipete area, South Jakarta, on Monday (22/4/2024).

"Because our first child is a girl, the second is a boy, and the third is a girl. So if it's a boy again, it would be a pair. But during the ultrasound, the doctor said it looks like a girl," added Aldi Taher.

1. Grateful for Wife and Healthy Baby

Nevertheless, Aldi remains grateful even if his wife gives birth to a baby girl. What's important is that his wife and child are always in good health.

"For me, it doesn't matter if it's a boy or a girl. What matters is that my wife is healthy, my baby is healthy," said Aldi.

2. First Child Wants a Sister

Although his second child, a boy, was a little disappointed that his sibling is once again a girl, he eventually accepted it. Especially since his father is also a boy, just like him.

"Usually, the older brother who is a boy hopes for a brother as a companion. But the older brother said, 'a sister', 'yeah'. Well, there's dad to play with," Aldi explained.

3. Give Birth Normally

Meanwhile, Sasabillih admitted that she wants to give birth to her fourth child normally, just like before. That's why she hopes that she won't encounter any obstacles until the delivery.

"Normal, alhamdulillah normal. Hopefully, this one will also be normal, without any obstacles. If the estimated due date from the doctor is in September, hopefully, it will be in September," Salsabillih concluded.
