Update on Cyntiara Alona's Case Related to Child Prostitution, the File is Complete and Will Soon be Tried

Kapanlagi.com - Case file of alleged child prostitution practice, with suspect Cynthiara Alona already complete or P-21. The investigators from Jakarta Metro Police have handed over the evidence along with the suspect to the Tangerang State Prosecutor's Office on Wednesday (14/7/2021).

From observations, Cynthiara Alona arrived at the Tangerang State Prosecutor's Office around 11:00 AM accompanied by police officers. Alona, who was wearing a green Muslim attire combined with a brown hijab, was immediately taken by the officers to the Stage II Room without saying much to the media.

Meanwhile, the Head of Tangerang State Prosecutor's Office, Dewa Gede Wirajana, stated that the health condition of Alona and two other suspects is good, so it does not disrupt the process of examining the evidence and identities.

1. Submit Documents Immediately

Wirajana also stated that they will immediately submit Cyntiara Alona's files along with two other suspects to the Court for immediate trial. "(Trial) We will submit it to the Court as soon as possible," he said.

Wirajana continued, after the examination of Alona is completed, the Prosecutor's Office will return Alona to the Metro Jaya Regional Police Detention Center. "For now, we will hand her back to the Metro Jaya Regional Police because the Women's Penitentiary is currently in lockdown and this area is in the red zone, so we will return her to the Metro Jaya Regional Police," he said.

2. Hotel Raid

As known, the arrest of Cyntiara Alona began with the police officers of the Metro Jaya Regional Police raiding a hotel in the Tangerang area, suspected of engaging in child prostitution. The raid took place on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.

After the investigation, the police named Cyntiara Alona as the hotel owner and two other individuals, AA and DA, as the procurers, as suspects.
