Uya Kuya's Cat Treated at Animal Health Center, Previously Stressed Now Gradually Recovering

"Currently, its condition has improved after intensive treatment," said the Head of the Animal Health Center, drh Arianto Nugroho, to reporters in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday (4/9/2025).

"The cat is in a state of stress. We are providing food, multivitamins, and antibiotics to prevent its condition from deteriorating further," said Dr. Arianto Nugroho. 

Arianto explained that a thorough examination has been conducted, from blood sample collection to the installation of an IV. When it was first found, the cat appeared to be severely stressed due to the incident that had occurred.

In addition to caring for Uya's pet cat, the Animal Health Center is also continuing to coordinate with the East Jakarta Metro Police regarding the handling of other animals at Uya's house following the chaos. Thanks to intensive care, Uya's cat is now gradually recovering and is no longer experiencing severe stress.

Amid the material and immaterial losses due to looting, Uya Kuya also just appeared in public on September 3, 2025, at the East Jakarta Metro Police.

"As of last night, we have three cats in our hands," said Uya Kuya while providing information at the East Jakarta Metro Police on Wednesday (9/3/2025).

Uya added, "There are also some that are said to have been secured by the police. So, there are two that the police have secured, which are the results of the police's capture."

He also revealed that another cat is still at the shelter after being cared for by Sherina.

"The one with Sherina is still at the shelter, but until now I still haven't been able to, my team, my friends still haven't been able to check on the cat. But I have already communicated with Sherina," he said.
