Vadel Badjideh Allegedly Forced LM to Terminate Pregnancy

Kapanlagi.com - South Jakarta Metro Police have named Vadel Badjideh as a suspect in a case of alleged sexual assault and forced abortion. This decision was made after the police collected evidence that supports these allegations. The head of the South Jakarta Metro Police's Women and Children Protection Unit, AKP Citra Ayu Civilia, explained that the police have secured various pieces of evidence from this case.

"The modus operandi involves a power relationship and deception. We have secured evidence including the results of a forensic examination, witness statements, expert witness statements, and the mobile phone belonging to a witness," said AKP Citra Ayu at the South Jakarta Police Station on Friday (14/2/2025).

This case originated from a report by Nikita Mirzani, who reported Vadel's actions against her child, LM. The incident occurred in January 2024, where the victim, who was dating Vadel, allegedly experienced sexual assault due to the suspect's persuasion.

"The reporter, named NM, explained that the victim's child, LM, was in a relationship with the reported VAB, and during their relationship, under the suspect's persuasion, which included promises of responsibility and marriage, the victim's child LM was willing to engage in sexual relations like a husband and wife with the suspect, VAB," Citra revealed.

1. Forced Abortion

After entering into the relationship, LM was found to be pregnant. However, Vadel allegedly did not want his family to know about it and forced the victim to terminate her pregnancy.

"As a result of that relationship, the victim LM is suspected to have become pregnant and was forced by the suspect VAB to terminate her pregnancy. Because VAB's actions were not to be known by his family," he added.

The police are collecting various pieces of evidence to strengthen the investigation. Based on the results of the medical examination and witness statements, Nikita's report is considered to have a strong basis for further processing.

"Based on the statements from witnesses and the results of the medical examination, as well as expert doctors, regarding the report, NM as the biological mother of the victim LM feels aggrieved and reported it to the South Jakarta Metro Police," Citra explained.
