The feud between Vadel Badjideh and the music group Radja is increasingly capturing public attention. Vadel previously criticized Radja by calling the band unprofessional. In response to this, Ian Kasela spoke up and shared his views on the comment.
Ian admitted that he does not take Vadel's statement too seriously, even calling it something that does not need a serious response. According to Ian, the difference in experience is the main reason.
"Here it may seem like I’m not really responding. Because Vadel is nobody, but I consider him very far off. Maybe it’s not apple to apple if we talk about it," said Ian Kasela when met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Sunday (29/12/2024).
Ian also highlighted Vadel's emotional side, which is considered unstable. As a young musician, he believes Vadel still has a lot to learn to cope with the pressures of the entertainment industry.
"Young people are emotionally unstable. So they are volatile, and we don’t want to engage too much. We also don’t want to seek an equal enemy. Because we are here choosing the entertainment path. Entertainment is meant to entertain, not to create issues," Ian emphasized.
Regarding payments to Vadel, Ian ensures that all rights and obligations that are part of the agreement have been settled by the Radja party.
This also answers any accusations that may arise regarding their financial responsibility. "Their rights and obligations are settled. It's settled," he said briefly.
However, when asked about Vadel's statement claiming that Radja is unprofessional, Ian responded casually. He feels there is no need to excessively reply to the criticism, considering Radja's long experience in the music industry.
"Maybe that's just a back-and-forth conversation, what I mentioned. I don't need to take Vadel's comments too seriously," said Ian.
Ian then emphasized Radja's track record as a band that has been active for a long time. He considers Vadel's statement unfounded, given Radja's reputation for always maintaining professional relationships with all parties they collaborate with.
"Don't say we're unprofessional. We are. How many years have we been involved in this? We have collaborated with many people, and we have never, quote-unquote, had a case," he stated firmly.
