Jessica Iskandar has not been seen on the second day of her father Hardy Iskandar's body being laid to rest at Rumah Duka Sentosa Gatot Subroto, Sunday (29/12/2024). Her husband, Vincent Verhaag, explained the reason for her absence.
According to Vincent, Jessica actually did come to the funeral home on Saturday (28/12/2024), but because of this, Jedar could not be present at the funeral home.

"She came here yesterday, but there is also sadness for Jes where she can't be here every day because at home there is still a baby, and the baby is not yet 40 days old. So it’s a bit of a dilemma, that’s why we are taking turns," explained Vincent.
Vincent emphasized that he and Jessica share roles. He chose to stay at the funeral home, while Jessica took care of their baby at home with the other children.
"I split my time here so she can be at home with the baby and the kids," he continued. Â
Additionally, Vincent also explained Jessica's health condition after giving birth. This mother of two is still in the recovery phase post-surgery, which was accompanied by bleeding complications.
"She has improved, she is healthy, she has recovered. Still in the process of healing from internal wounds," he said.
Jessica, Vincent said, spends more time in the room with her baby to keep her condition from becoming too fatigued.
"Because of that, after the operation process, it's still about 40 days, don't overdo it. She just spends time in the room with her baby," Vincent added.
Vincent also discussed Jessica's feelings of grief over her father's passing. As the only daughter in the family, Jessica had a very close relationship with the late Hardy Iskandar. Â
"Yes, it's sad, she is the only daughter. And she was also close to her father. So there is definitely sadness," he said.
