Venna Melinda Hopes Divorce Lawsuit Against Ferry Irawan Will Soon Be Finalized, Just Wants Legal Certainty

Kapanlagi.com - Actress and politician Venna Melinda expressed her hope that her divorce process with Ferry Irawan will be resolved soon. In an interview after attending the court session preparations at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Tuesday (11/19/2024), Venna stated that the next hearing is scheduled for November 28, 2024.

“Not yet, it will be on November 28. Please pray for me to have legal certainty so that the divorce can be finalized quickly. It has been quite a while. I just want legal certainty so that the divorce can be finalized and there are no more ties,” Venna said firmly.

Venna acknowledged that the long process of the divorce lawsuit has drained her energy, and she had to file the lawsuit three times. However, the support from her legal team, led by Sandy Arifin, has been a source of strength for her.

“Alhamdulillah, I have a lawyer who can support me. Sometimes I like to vent, and he often asks me to be patient. Everything indeed has its administration, from the first lawsuit, the second lawsuit, including this last one,” Venna revealed.

According to Venna, a good relationship between herself and her attorney is very important in facing this legal process. “Yes, the lawyer and the client must support each other. So if the lawyer is patient, I must also be patient. Hopefully, this will really be the final one. There will also be mom and dad on November 28, so hopefully it can be resolved quickly,” she added.

Venna's attorney, Sandy Arifin, explained that his presence in court that day was to complete the witness documents that would be presented at the upcoming hearing.

“Today, I and Ms. Venna are submitting or providing information to the court. We are filling out documents related to the witnesses that will be presented in the hearing on the 28th,” Sandy explained.

Sandy also ensured that the necessary documents were complete, including the ID cards of witnesses from Venna's family. “Since the data and documents are with me, I cannot attend the hearing on the 28th. So today we prioritized registering two ID cards of witnesses that will be presented for the hearing on the 28th. We have filled out the forms related to the witnesses,” he said.

2. Venna's Parents Will Provide Testimony

In the upcoming trial, Venna Melinda's father and mother will provide testimony. “The witnesses that will be presented from the family side, Venna's father and mother also want to be present to give testimony,” added Sandy.

Venna hopes this process will be resolved soon so she can focus on continuing her life without any legal issues hanging over her. “I just want legal certainty, I don’t want anything hanging. So that everything can be resolved well,” said Venna.

Meanwhile, Sandy is also optimistic that the hearing on November 28 will go smoothly. “We hope that on the 28th the hearing will go smoothly. And the first summons yesterday was appropriate, the exact address. The second summons, God willing, has been received at the address that is indeed registered,” concluded Sandy.
